We’re sick of the state of health care
Lack of funding has led our emergency departments to the point where many have already closed or are on the brink of shutting their doors – especially in small towns and the north. Ontario’s Doctors believe in equitable health care. That’s why we need the government to fix emergency medicine and invest more in virtual care so people who live far away from a doctor can access the health care they need, when they need it.

We’re sick of Ontarians not having a family doctor
You need and deserve a family doctor. We believe it’s a fundamental right. With more than 2.3 million Ontarians currently without a family physician, Ontario’s Doctors are asking the government to step up and fund family medicine.

We’re sick of watching our kids suffer
Our children are our most vulnerable and deserve world-class treatment. That’s why we’re asking the government to make much-needed investments in pediatric care, so kids get faster treatment that’s closer to home. Our future generation’s health and the health of our province depend upon it.

We’re sick of being underfunded
Over the past decade, inflation has grown at 25.4%. Funding has not kept pace with inflation and restrictive legislation like Bill 124 have contributed to increased financial hardship for physician practices.
Increasing
funding
means
more health care when you need it
These are just some of the areas that are in critical need of funding, and Ontario’s Doctors are at the negotiations table asking the government for their support. We are raising our voices for the health of our patients, and the very future of universal health care.
